• Also called pre-record, allows from 0-5 minutes of video to be recorded prior to trigger activation. There are 4 external trigger inputs including the wireless audio pack, plus a manual record button on the control head.

• Adjustable from 0-120 minutes, this timer allows the vehicle ignition to be cut off for up to 2 hours while the system remains active for immediate use.

• Settings are easily changed in the vehicle using a standard PS/2 keyboard that attaches to the back of the control head. Password protected for security (no laptop or computer needed for setup).

• Officer names can be added to the in vehicle system to support multiple shifts per car. Each officer’s video files have their names attached and automatically downloaded to the server for easy searching.

• Better image quality\than VHS, the digitally recorded video will not degrade with system usage or when duplicated. Recorded video may be enlarged and further enhanced without affecting court admissibility.

• Video Authentication for court admissibility is standard with the DVR-3012 system. Recorded video scenes may not be altered without detection.

• A password is established for access to system set up of the recorder.

• Digital video may be archived electronically and stored as needed. Copied video retains full authenticity. Video may be retrieved via database search and may be copied over to video tape, CD, DVD, etc.
